Days go by

It’s one of those days when not much gets done. I tried to build a Glade application, and to my surprise, was pretty successful! Well, not on Debian, till I installed gnome-core-devel, but surely on Fedora Core 1. It’s dead easy to build GUIs this way.

Triaged some OpenOffice.org bugs on IssueZilla. Dinner was out – Charms, Zac, Ash & Wanz. Sat on the AMIS meeting later (at 1am!). We’re going to build a cool app I can tell, it’s just going to take some time. And we’d most likely be using GTK which rocks.

Oh, an XSLT transform of the content.xml file can be performed (for OOo files), and a command line utility can be written to give you either plain text or HTML. This is cool, and needs to be done ASAP. Currently, OOoConv does it with an OOo based macro – not really suitable for “production use”.
