Friday, November 4th, 2005Caught Elizabethtown, and it actually meant a lot to me in such a timely fashion. Today was yet another LUV day, organised by Russell Coker again. Lunch at our usual Wine Bar, and then we headed for Doom.
My Powerbook arrived. Everything migrated easily, and in a timely fashion also - I need to get Rawhide going on a sane box (iBook g4/1.33) for an article being written. One good thing I noticed is that when I remap my ctrl/caps keys, the Caps Lock light doesn’t light up everytime I hit “my Control” key. Handy.
iTunes has a Show Duplicate Songs feature. It however, only seems to work when applied to your Library in iTunes. It doesn’t actually work on your iPod or any playlist within. That seems fairly silly, no? So I tried out iDupe, and it also can’t scan stuff on the iPod. How odd. Do we have any open source tools that can get this done easily?
Comment spam. The easiest way it seems to get rid of this is to delete all comments that have links in their Name field. Seems to work in wordpress.
