Monday, November 28th, 2005Since last week, things have been randomly fun/interesting. I spent a few days rebuilding my laptop (FreeBSD 6.0, Ubuntu 5.10 and FC-4 [this is the third time it goes on this laptop!]). The fact that I lost a weeks worth of work (and notes) still isn’t making me happy. My experiences with the first two and the Thinkpad R51 will be online soon-ish. Mainly because its still an ongoing experience.
Thursday came and we (Ditesh and Aizat) decided a short dinner was in lieu. Certainly untrue, as both aizat and prabu will attest to. Friday was doing random things, finding broken Ubuntu universe packages (thanks #ubuntu-motu).
Ow’s wedding came later Saturday night. Read mel’s and aizat’s accounts, as they’re generally accurate. After that, caught up with Jeffrey to head to Castle (they have WiFI, but they so need a website). Was not impressed with the crowd/dance floor.
Home, Sunday was brunch->late evening time spent with family friends. And today it’s back to work - more gforge fun.
