movies.
Since my last movie update, I’ve actually managed to catch quite a few shows. Some on terrestrial television, others on a plane (even when I flew back to Melbourne on business class, the movies were the same from the month before, so I wasn’t exactly pleased). Yes, its sad, I haven’t actually been into a cinema for a very, very long time. But hey, thats what planes, busses (when I went skiing) and TV in hotel rooms are for.
- k-9:p-i
- i do but i don’t
- firewall - yet another rob the bank show. Not highly impressive.
- view from the top
- failure to launch - very, very, funny.
- last holiday - remember, to live life.
- mumford - interestingly, disturbing.
- drop dead gorgeous
- the hot chick
- touching the void - this is definitely worth a watch. Highly recommended.
- candy - an interesting Aussie show, love, drugs, very interesting
- match point - interesting, different from the usual tennis love show
- yours, mine, and ours - funny!
- keeping mum - slept while watching bits of it, not quite the same Mr. Bean expectation
- RV - funny, but only when you’re 30,000 feet in the air
- MI:3 - watch Tom Cruise as Superman? ;-)
- Employee of the Month - can life get any worse? Identifying with is is easy
- 16 Blocks
- me, you, and dupree - funny!
- miami vice - while being a kid, I used to watch the series. Now I wan’t Sonny’s hairstyle again
- my super ex-girlfriend - funny, be weary of whose heart you’re breaking
- pirates of the carribean 2: dead man’s chest - didn’t see the first one, but this was somewhat interesting. Probably catch it via Quickflic soon.
- hoodwinked - spent the first 10 minutes watching it thinking “this is a really long trailer”. I don’t think I’m in the mood for cartoons these days.
And with my new Quickflix trial (this is the Netflix equivalent), I managed to catch Prozac Nation (outstanding, highly recommended) and Must Love Dogs (usual romantic comedy).
