		<description>Hi Colin,

Thank you very much for blogging about us! "why not just ask a forum?" is a perfectly valid question. My answer to that question is another question:

Forums are great (as are NNTP newsgroups) - but in addition to forums, why not leverage video blogging and digital media to help our peers as well? I am a database guy and not necessarily as skilled with a digital video camera as I am with SQL Server, so I took the month of June off and I'm presently in a digital filmmaking workshop at the New York Film Academy. Filmmaking is great! I can't wait to begin filming our new ASKaSQLGURU.com TV show that will also be available on the site via Flash and on iTunes and via RSS in formats for Zune, iPod, Apple TV, and any other format the community wants (HD?).

I agree that the MySQL community should have something like this, too. If anyone in the MySQL world is interested in producing a video blog, I'd love to talk to you. My contact info is below.

Thank you very much for the link to Sheeri's podcast! I will definitely subscribe to it.

Have a great day and thanks again so much for the kind mention!
