From the FAQ, it seemed like Java was being worked on, Perl maintained, no mention of python: "All new web development is done in Java and the Perl is only maintained." Python and Java are the way forward. As I heard it, no new Perl, Python is still there heavily on the backend, and it will grow with inclusion of things like Cobbler, and (probably) Func. Correct.
