horrendous memory update

(is there a way to exclude a category from a wordpress rss feed? this life category is really pretty boring, its meant to be as a record for my horrendous memory)

So, Pahang happened, despite I thinking it’d not. In my opinion, I mostly just wasted time. Drive up, drive down, traffic jams, truly, was very tired.

Lots of visits to Old Town White Coffee… They open till 3am or 24/7, depending on the store. Cleaner than the mamaks, win!

Some big stuff at work sorted out. More win. Next week, the rewards will be reaped. Naturally, lots more crap to do, but I’m excited.

Thursday was the Entrepreneurs meetup. Pavillion. I thought it’d be late night shopping till 11pm, and by 10pm, everything was closed. Sigh… Now I have to make a trip again to sort buying stuff out. Interesting to note that people seem to know whom I am, thru the infamous “bytebot”

Friday, work. Lots of it. By about 6pm though, good news, was off to the Curve to see SK2. A normal 5-6 minute journey was only 41-minutes. I hate traffic jams. Quick walk, then off to dinner at Souled Out. Note that the valet service here is free – it wasn’t always, afaik. Food was good, dessert was especially good; asked for a flat white and that failed. Oh well. Can’t win. Back to curve, then to cheras, and saw John, Carmen for supper. Yummy mango juice

Saturday, up late. Between breakfast and going out again for lunch, I didn’t even have an hour. Victoria Station has a new menu, removing all the good gratin stuff that I like. Lunch, was pretty lengthy, then headed back for a few minutes to go back out to Bangsar. Bangsar was visiting some boutiques… another post for that soon. Business models, et al. Dinner was at the Korean restaurant, BBQ, at Mont Kiara. Fun! BBQ and steamboat. Night ended way too early, but I thought I’d balance going back to see the family (and really to enjoy the big screen TV while watching Las Vegas :))

Sunday, Merdeka. Doesn’t feel like it. Traditional Chinese breakfast. Lunch at Tetra – fish briyani! Don’t know what’s for dinner, but I hear we’re popping open a bottle of champagne. Win!

Spent most of today reading. The Edge, Oscar Wilde. Its nice to have some face time away from the computer. Tomorrow’s a public holiday, but I’m expected to tie up some loose ends at work. Let’s hope I wake up early and work quick magic
