A couple of things, it is definitely a labor of love. We use Ubuntu and want Linux to succeed as much as possible. This is partly how we contribute back to the community. 

Early on, we hosted some of the media files on DreamHost. Most episodes are now on blip.tv. They charge a flat monthly fee, nothing extra for bandwidth.</description>
