Dan Daggett has scripted up his experiences of building <a href=\"http:\/\/www.socialgeek.com\/blog\/blosxom.cgi\/2004\/04\/15#gnome26\">GNOME 2.6 with GARNOME<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Figured the Malaysian Linux scene needed a little boost, so <tt>#myoss<\/tt> is born (on <tt>irc.freenode.net<\/tt>). All Malaysians in the open source community should join, participate, at least for some real-time chit-chat. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.my-opensource.org\/lists\/myoss\/index.html\">list<\/a> is good, but IRC just gives that further interaction. Seems there&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/opensource.meetup.com\/members\/936\">International Open Source Meetup Day<\/a> in KL &#8211; we apparently have on in Melbourne too.<\/p>\n<p>Jeremy has posted some <a href=\"http:\/\/people.redhat.com\/~katzj\/anaconda-langs\/\">anaconda screenshots<\/a> for <a href=\"http:\/\/people.redhat.com\/~katzj\/anaconda-langs\/ms_MY.UTF-8\/\">ms_MY<\/a> &#8211; these are Malay language translations for a Fedora install.
