But I did visit <a href=\"http:\/\/thestar.com.my\/\">The Star Online<\/a> recently, and was shocked to find that they had a multimedia section, that also had video clips! Its called <a href=\"http:\/\/thestaronline.tv\/\">TheStarOnline.tv<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/byte\/3069799385\/\" title=\"The Star Online - newspaper also hosting video by byte, on Flickr\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3192\/3069799385_bcae09a8fc_o.jpg?resize=316%2C258\" width=\"316\" height=\"258\" alt=\"The Star Online - newspaper also hosting video\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>A newspaper, traditional media that is print, embracing video? I wonder if reporters are carrying around little FlipMino&#8217;s :)<\/p>\n<p>Seems somewhat popular even. On Thursday <a href=\"http:\/\/thestaronline.tv\/default.aspx?vid=2482\">Malacca divorcing George Town<\/a> had a paltry 163 views. Today, its Sunday, and its up to 1,089 views. Most viewed video is at 9,752 views, in where <a href=\"http:\/\/thestaronline.tv\/default.aspx?vid=2473\">Thaksin goes shopping in Dubai<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Its interesting to see that they&#8217;re hosting the videos on YouTube and embedding them. They have 740 subscribers to their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/thestaronline\">YouTube feed<\/a> (soon to be 741 as I subscribe to them :P)&#8230; They&#8217;ve been around for over a year, and have had under 35,000 views in their channel &#8211; nothing exactly fancy, but a good start.
