I still haven&#8217;t figured out its use fully yet, but maybe its there for keeping my readers connected to each other?<\/p>\n<p><center><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/byte\/3381801416\/\" title=\"Is this what Google Friend Connect is for? by byte, on Flickr\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3556\/3381801416_9464c09723_o.jpg?resize=618%2C38\" width=\"618\" height=\"38\" alt=\"Is this what Google Friend Connect is for?\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<\/center><\/p>\n<p>A modest number of folk have joined, but today I noticed them becoming friends. Win?<\/p>\n<p>Its good to see that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.btimes.com.my\/\">Business Times<\/a> in Malaysia has something similar. All this is the <a href=\"http:\/\/myzope.kedai.com.my\/blogs\/kedai\/231\">work<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/myzope.kedai.com.my\/blogs\/kedai\/232\">of<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/kedai\">@kedai<\/a>. Lots of members, but no conversation yet, so it proves that there&#8217;s not much great use of it yet. I notice that there is a &#8220;Like!&#8221; activity (look at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.btimes.com.my\/Current_News\/BTIMES\/articles\/zorra\/Article\/copy_of_index_html\">this<\/a> for example), which then gets shared in the stream (not a comment but it says &#8220;username liked article&#8221;). This is again something kedai wrote, which is a very <a href=\"http:\/\/myzope.kedai.com.my\/blogs\/kedai\/232\">simple activity<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>He, like I, wants to know how else you can socialise a site?<\/p>\n<p><b>Update:<\/b> Robert Scoble speaks to Kevin Marks about this, and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=FxxlMD6FZuQ\">video<\/a> itself is pretty interesting.
