I decided to use <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gnome.org\/~jdub\/garnome\/\">GARNOME<\/a>, instead of jhbuild this time, which meant I had to learn how to use <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gnu.org\/software\/gnu-arch\/\">GNU arch<\/a>. Fedora\/Fedora.us don&#8217;t have arch, so I rebuilt a source RPM and it installed fine.<\/p>\n<p>Alternatively, read the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ocf.berkeley.edu\/~bobk\/garnome\/arch-howto\/\">GARNOME TLA (GNU Arch) HOWTO<\/a> and there are links to some arch RPMs. That&#8217;s basically all you need to read to get started with garnome. Bob Kashani has further information at his site, and a useful script would be the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ocf.berkeley.edu\/~bobk\/garnome\/garnome-deps-fc2-0.1.sh\">FC2 dependency installation script<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Building it just takes some time, and when its done, create the <tt>garnome-session<\/tt> file, and then add a <tt>garnome.desktop<\/tt> (an example <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bytebot.net\/blog\/archives\/2004\/02\/01\/building-gnome-25\">of the jhbuild equivalent<\/a>).
