The government works for us, not the other way around. An expiring regime tries many tricks, but its clear that there are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.themalaysianinsider.com\/malaysia\/article\/saifuddin-backs-repealing-law-that-could-curb-net-freedom\/\">rifts within the regime<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If you need more information as to why the amendments to the Evidence Act are bad, the Center for Independent Journalism in Malaysia has a pretty good resource:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/stop114a.wordpress.com\/\">http:\/\/stop114a.wordpress.com\/<\/a>. I&#8217;m particularly pleased there is an <em>infographic<\/em>\u00a0so for people that are lazy to read, the <a href=\"http:\/\/stop114a.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/07\/stop114a-infographic1.jpg\">infographic tells all<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a huge chunk of <a href=\"http:\/\/stop114a.wordpress.com\/resources\/\">resources<\/a>, and you can even put on a <a href=\"http:\/\/stop114a.wordpress.com\/get-involved\/twitter\/\">twibbon<\/a> on <a href=\"http:\/\/stop114a.wordpress.com\/get-involved\/facebook\/\">Facebook<\/a> &amp; Twitter.
