A few days ago they had potential trouble keeping the lights on for this secure BSD distribution, and today they&#8217;re all set in terms of electricity to power servers and looking for more around project expansion.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If you dig <a href=\"http:\/\/mariadb.org\/\">MariaDB<\/a>, it&#8217;s worth noting that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.openbsd.org\/cgi-bin\/cvsweb\/ports\/databases\/mysql\/\">MySQL 5.1.73<\/a> ships and the MariaDB branch in the ports tree is currently at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.openbsd.org\/cgi-bin\/cvsweb\/ports\/databases\/mariadb\/\">MariaDB 10.0.7<\/a>. Previously they shipped MariaDB 5.5.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.openbsdfoundation.org\/donations.html\">Donate<\/a> to keep the lights on for this secure BSD distribution.
