First it was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bytebot.net\/blog\/archives\/2004\/2\/22\/amusing-sunday-reading\">M3 owning the GPL<\/a>, and now its <a href=\"http:\/\/star-techcentral.com\/tech\/story.asp?file=\/2004\/3\/4\/technology\/7461209&#038;sec=technology\">the law behind Open Source<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/simos.info\/\">Simos<\/a> brought us to the article&#8217;s attention, and <a href=\"http:\/\/my-opensource.org\/lists\/myoss\/2004-03\/msg00113.html\">a response to the editor<\/a>. His letter is a pretty good sum up of information, and then it got posted to <a href=\"http:\/\/linuxtoday.com\/infrastructure\/2004031001026OPLL\">LinuxToday<\/a> too.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s nice to know that <a href=\"http:\/\/rhpg.com.my\/people\/deepak.htm\">Deepak Pillai<\/a> has come up with <a href=\"http:\/\/linuxtoday.com\/news_story.php3?ltsn=2004-03-10-010-26-OP-LL-0020\">a response<\/a>, and also shows us <a href=\"http:\/\/www.freewebs.com\/deepakpillai\/3rd%20MSC%20Cyberlaw%20Conference%20-%20Open%20Source%20-%20Legal%20&#038;%20Policy%20Issues.pdf\">his presentation<\/a>. His comments are well worthwhile, and from the presentation, looks like there was some mis-reporting. So why is such a reputed newspaper trying to tell the masses that there&#8217;s trouble brewing in the open source world?
